RIVERSIDE, CA, December 2, 2009 – Many pet owners are struggling financially to provide food and routine care for their beloved companions during these tough times. So when an animal suddenly needs veterinarian care, the money to pay for it may not be available. The owner may be forced to make the decision to either put off treatment which causes the animal to suffer or have the animal euthanized. Additionally, pets that are unaltered bring on the added financial burden of feeding and providing medical care for litters of kittens and puppies.
The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center (RHSPAC) offers the following resources that may be able to help pet owners pay for veterinary care. Contact the organizations directly for further information and eligibility.
