Annual Walk With The Animals Supports Homeless Pets
Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center’s 18th Annual Walk With The Animals on March 20 will be a fun event for animal lovers of all ages. The event is 8:00 a.m. to noon, Fairmount Park band shell area, Riverside, CA. Free admission for people and their pets, which must be friendly and on leashes. Participants in the two-mile Walk are encouraged to collect pledges to sponsor their effort.
Walk Grand Marshals are Southern California’s popular Muttley Crew K9s. Activities include pancake breakfast, KOLA 99.9 FM’s Prize Caravan, K9 entertainment, pet contests, raffle prizes, animal-related exhibits, and animal-themed boutique. Food and beverages are for purchase. All proceeds benefit homeless cats and dogs at the Pet Adoption Center.

The Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center is now open until 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Hours on Saturdays and Sundays remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
